After receiving much acclaim for her Bollywood debut in ‘Barfi’ (2012), Ileana D’Cruz has become one that everyone seems to want to sign. However, coming from the South Indian movie scene, the actress has expressed that she has become very careful as to what films she decided to do.

“I’m very choosy. I think that after doing 16 films down South, one tends to get a bit choosy because you realise that you just need to slow down, take a step back, and decide calmly. I have to be careful about the films that I choose because I don’t want to make a fool of myself,” NDTVreported the actress stating.

Her last stint in ‘Main Tera Hero’ (2014) also granted her much applause, where she was seen sharing the screen with Varun Dhawan and Nargis Fakhri. Having had a great experience during the making of each of her films in the Indian Film Industry, D’Cruz went onto add, “I don’t want to do a film that I am irritated about later on. I want to do a film which I wholeheartedly enjoy. Like ‘Main Tera Hero’was amazing. I started working from the age of 18 and I am 28 now, it’s been a very long time, so I want to take it easy and want to give something special each time.”

The actress will next be seen inRaj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s joint directorial ‘Happy Ending’. Also starring Saif Ali Khan, Govinda,Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey, the film is set to hit the big screens on 21st November.
