Ileana D’Cruz to star in Jackie Chan’s ‘Kung Fu Yoga’?

For quite some time, there were reports that Katrina Kaif was to star opposite the Asiac action star Jackie Chan in ‘Kung Fu Yoga’, however, due to date issues Kaif rejected the project and as of now, Ileana D’Cruz has been zeroed as the leading lady in the venture. Reports are that the actress has flown to Dubai to begin shooting for the venture.

The film will be directed by Stanley Tony who had previously cast Mallika Sherawat alongside Chan in ‘The Myth’. According to NDTV, D’Cruz will be seen performing some stunts in the venture under guidance of Chan. The film also stars Sonu Sood but in a negative role.

A source close to the development said, “Ileana’s role in the movie is lengthier than Mallika’s in The Myth. She will be seen throughout the film.”

Also, the makers are looking for a parallel lead with Chan, however they are yet to finalise the same.
