Ikonz magazine goes in for new look

Britain’s newest showbiz magazine Ikonz is going under the scanner for a revamp, coinciding with the upcoming Magazine Week.

It is said to be much more “bolder” and have a “tabloid” feel about it, which are outcomes from extensive research carried out by the publisher. The new look of the magazine begins from this month’s issue.

Ikonz magazine has also invested more into ensuring readers are provided with current and high quality images, more interviews with A-list personalities, exclusive photo shoots for the magazine, additional special features and an increase in the number of pages dedicated to bite size news and gossip. The number of editorial staff and contributors has also been increased and, due to high demand, the magazine team is now taking on work placement applicants.

Reena Combo, editor of Ikonz, said: “Ikonz magazine is and has always been about putting our readers first. There has been a gap in the market and we۪ve successfully filled that gap. We are one of many ethnic-orientated publications in Britain, all providing their own brand of first class journalism and content. We celebrate this and consider ourselves to be privileged to be a part of that wider family; and this is why we are supporting Magazine Week.”

To further acknowledge Magazine Week, which takes place between 17th – 23rd September, Ikonz magazine is offering free annual subscriptions to the first 20 people to register interest on the website between 17th and 23rd September.

Ikonz magazine was first published in December 2006 for the Midlands region and then launched nationally in February 2007.
