Idea of working in Hollywood excites Deepika Padukone

Over the years, a number of actors and actresses in Bollywood have attempted to broaden their work opportunities and look at working in Hollywood. ��Deepika Padukone says the idea of working in Hollywood excites her and she would love to experience the different style of filmmaking there.

Speaking to Hindustan Times about her Hollywood dreams, Padukone said,��”Yes, it does excite me. It�۪s fascinating to set foot in a world that is completely different. The kind of films they make is different, and I�۪m sure their work culture is different, too. It would be like starting all over again, the way I began my Bollywood career seven years ago. It would be challenging, but I don�۪t mind.”

It can be noted that Padukone was almost signed on for ‘Fast & Furious 7’ after having auditioned for a role in the film. ��However, close to being finalised, date issues cropped up and did not allow for her to sign on the dotted line.

On the Bollywood front, Padukone will next be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’. ��Also starring Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, ‘Piku’ hits cinemas worldwide on 8th May.
