ICL Twenty20 World Series called off
The ICL has called off the World Series Twenty20 tournament, which was scheduled for March 2009.
An ICL spokesperson told Indiantelevision.com, “The two main reasons behind management’s decision of cancelling the series are ��� economic crisis and unavailability of the Lahore Badshahs (Pakistani players).”
The World Series scheduled for October 2009 should not be affected.
