Ibrahim Ali Khan & Sreeleela’s ‘Diler’ to release directly on OTT?
Speculation is mounting that ‘Diler’, starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sreeleela, and helmed by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, may bypass a theatrical release altogether and premiere directly on an OTT platform.
Ibrahim’s entry into the film industry has been anything but smooth. His debut, ‘Nadaaniyan’, was widely criticised online. His follow-up, ‘Sarzameen’, which premiered on Jio Hotstar in July 2025, received lukewarm reviews.
As such, ‘Diler’ has been viewed as a pivotal opportunity for redemption. Directed by Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Maddock Films, the sports drama marks the Hindi debut of Telugu star Sreeleela, and was filmed across London, Mumbai, and Chandigarh earlier this year.
