Ibrahim Ali Khan & Rasha Thadani to star in coming-of-age romantic film
Ibrahim Ali Khan and Rasha Thadani have reportedly been cast in an upcoming coming-of-age romantic drama, marking a fresh chapter for both young actors.
Following a lukewarm debut with ‘Nadaaniyan’, Khan is said to be determined to silence his critics with a more serious turn in two forthcoming projects—‘Sarzameen’ and ‘Diler’. In contrast, Rasha, daughter of Raveena Tandon and Anil Thadani, made a respectable acting debut in ‘Azaad’, though the film underperformed at the box office.
A source close to the production told Mid-Day, “While Ibrahim began his career with a rom-com, audiences will soon see a more intense side of him in ‘Sarzameen’ and ‘Diler’, the latter casting him as a marathon runner. This coming-of-age film, however, will reveal a gentler and more emotionally accessible dimension to his screen persona.”

The insider added, “Ibrahim and Rasha have been participating in regular script readings and acting workshops. The filmmakers were adamant about finding a duo who could genuinely convey the raw, youthful vulnerability of first love—not simply a glamorous pairing. Fortunately, the two struck an instant rapport during their very first meeting.”
