Huma Qureshi’s Hollywood debut confirmed with ‘Army of the Dead’

Indians making their way into Hollywood always makes news for the right season. Last week, news circulated that Farhan Akhtar was making his Hollywood debut with an secret project by Marvel Studios. Now, the latest addition to this long talented list is Huma Qureshi.

Qureshi is all set to make her debut in the action movie, ‘Army of the Dead.’ Directed by Zack Synder, the film is a zombie centric action thriller set in Las Vegas, reports Filmfare. The trailer was released last night. Qureshi shared the teaser on her social media and said, “Super proud to be a small part of this genius man’s vision @ZackSnyder always a fan and friend forever.” Fans where quick to praise and applaud her for the upcoming big budgeted movie. Industry stars like Farah Khan, Bhumi Pednekar and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor also sent their congratulations.

‘Army of the Dead’ also stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighofer, Nora Arnezeder and Hiroyuki Sanada. It with have a joint theatrical release alongside Netflix.

The movie is due to release 21st May.
