Huma Qureshi not invovled in Anurag-Kalki split

Having been accused of being the reason behind Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin’s split, Huma Qureshi has now issued a statement stating how she has nothing to do with their relationship, and how she is close friends with both of them.

“For the record, I am friends with both Anurag and Kalki. A few days ago, when Kalki came for the premiere of my movie, we hugged each other warmly. It’s surprising that me hugging Kalki doesn’t get noticed by people, but when I meet Anurag, we are having an affair?! There were many people from the film industry at the screening and I met everyone the same wayI met Anurag, but those pictures don’t get published. I meet all my friends warmly, so now am I having an affair with all of them? I think it’s irresponsible and insensitive to constantly create such rumours. It ends up causing unnecessary and harmful damage, both professionally and personally,” Times of India��reported the actress stating.

What’s more is that Koechlin herself made it clear to the public, that her friend has no involvement in he break-up, “Jesus Christ! Can we please leave Huma alone?! My problems with Anurag have nothing to do with her!”

And Qureshi hasn’t been the only one falsely accused of being involved in a split. With the recent news of actor Hrithik Roshan separating from wife Sussanne , it was model-turned-actor Arjun Rampal who was targeted as a culprit. Like Qureshi, Rampal also issued a statement against the rumour.
