Hum TV & Hum Masala begin Azaan telecast in UK

Hum TV and Hum Masala in the UK has officially begun broadcasting Azaan five times per day.

Starting from 1st January 2019, both channels will air Azaan prayers for Fajar (around 06:00), Zohar (around midday), Asar (around 14:00), Magrib (around 16:00) and Eshan (around 18:00). These approx timings are specifically for January.

This is the first time Hum TV and Hum Masala will air Azaan outside its traditional Ramadan programming. The broadcaster up until now has focused primarily on entertainment shows, with religious shows kept exclusively for special occasions.
