Hum TV Europe to unveil two new fictions
Hum TV Europe is set to launch two new fictions in the coming days to accommodate a couple of vacant slots.
Starting from Sunday 10th April, ‘Udaari’ will take the 20:00 slot, which previously belonged to ‘Abro’. Meanwhile, ‘Abro’ moves to Saturday nights at 20:00, which has been vacant since ‘Gul-e-Rana’ finished. ‘Udaari’ is written by Farhat Ishtiaq, and co-created and co-produced by MD Productions and Kashf Foundation. It stars Ahsan Khan, Farhan Saeed, Bushra Ansari, Behroz Sabzwari.
Then on Monday 11th April, ‘Mastana Mahi’ will take the weekday 21:00 slot, which replaces ‘Humnasheen’ after this week. The show previously aired in Pakistan in 2011 and proved a huge success. It stars Fahad Mustafa, Mehreen Raheel and Sajal Ali. The story is about the complex friendship between an expat girl romantically involved with a man her fathers age and a politician’s son who is forced to marry a child bride which gradually turns into love. However this relationship is tested by time and relationship of those around them.
Hum TV has around a weekly reach of half a million in UK ratings. It remains the most watched Pakistani entertainment channel in this territory.
