Hum News obtains UK licence for launch

Hum TV Network has obtained its UK licence to foray into the Pakistani news genre with Hum News.

BizAsiaLive.com understands that while Hum News is not currently available in Pakistan, plans are being rushed to launch the channel as soon as this year. Once it begins broadcasting in Pakistan, the channel will then launch in Pakistan.

Hum News will no doubt beef up Hum TV Network’s UK presence, which is dominating the Pakistani TV market with both Hum TV and Hum Masala.

Hum TV confirmed the news to BizAsiaLive.com but was hesitant to give clarity of launch launch for Hum News.
