Hum Masala to launch before Hum Gold in UK

Hum Network has confirmed to BizAsiaLive.com that it has postponed the launch of Hum Gold and will bring food channel, Hum Masala first in the UK instead.

Hum Masala positioned as Pakistan’s No.1 food channel, will become the UK’s first 24-hour Asian food channel. Hum Network has also notified Ofcom of the changes to its channel launch with Hum Gold now being replaced with Hum Masala on its licences page.

Hum Network is expected to announce programme details and launch date in the next couple of days. Hum Masala will launch on Sky channel 799 – replacing DM Global. Its flagship service, Hum TV Europe remains the UK’s most watched Pakistani channel.
