Hum Masala begins full video testing ahead of UK launch

Hum TV Network’s second channel to launch in the UK, Hum Masala has begun full video testing.

As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com , Hum Masala launches on the Sky platform on Monday 14th August. Hum Masala will focus on cookery shows, blended with popular fictions from the Hum TV archives. This will be the first 24-hour Asian food channel to be made available in the UK market.

Hum Masala will launch on Sky channel 799.

The channel’s sales are being handled by Alliance Advertising & Marketing.

Tests of Hum Masala UK can be viewed at the following parameters below:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> Select System Setup
-> Select Add Channels
-> Enter frequency: 11.538 (V), FEC: 5/6, SR: 22000 / DVB-S / QPSK
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “22617″ service and press Yellow button
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> Click on “22617” to view the channel
