Hum Europe’s new channel confirmed as Hum Gold

Hum TV Europe’s new channel has been christened as Hum Gold.

While details are sketchy at this moment, BizAsiaLive.com understands the channel will be a hybrid service with a mixture of fiction, non-fiction, lifestyle and infotainment content.

Incidentally, Hum Gold will be the first service of its kind for the broadcaster. Previously, Hum Europe had told BizAsiaLive.com that it would be launching Hum Masala but the plans were deferred. Now, it seems that Hum Gold will compromise of not just Hum Masala content but also programmes from its other channel, Hum Sitaray.

The launch is expected before Ramadhan subject to an EPG acquisition on Sky.
