Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Vikram Vedha’ remake hits a roadblock?

It was thought that the sets of the upcoming Hindi remake of Tamil film ‘Vikram Vedha’ (2017) were ready to be built in Mumbai but that a decision has been taken not to set them up yet, due to Mumbai’s current Covid-19 situation.

The Hindi version will reportedly star Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan. A source told E Times, “The Mumbai schedule will be done but later.”

The source went on to say, “It’s a call that was taken yesterday. It wasn’t an easy call to take, no doubt, but the fact that it’s going to be a costly set made the makers take the safer route rather than be sorry later”.

General Secretary of FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees), Ashok Dubey, is thought to have confirmed that the Mumbai shoot would not be taking place at the moment.
