Hrithik Roshan & Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Vikram Vedha’ remake gets release date?


Director Neeraj Pandey has roped in Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan together for the Hindi remake of the Tamil box office hit ‘Vikram Vedha’ (2017), as reported previously. The release date of the film has apparently been revealed now, despite the shoot’s delay.

Reported on Mid-day, a close source shared that the film is all set to go on floors next month, “The Hindi remake with Hrithik and Saif is in the advanced pre-production stage and will most likely go on floors next month. We are looking to release it on September 30, 2022.”

In the original, R Madhavan plays Vikram the pragmatic policeman who is on the hunt for Vedha the gangster essayed by Vijay Sethupathi. Who will play who in the remake is yet to be confirmed.

The remake will be produced under Pandey’s company Friday Filmworks in association with Reliance Entertainment and YNot Studios. Writer-director duo Pushkar and Gayathri who helmed the Tamil neo-noir crime thriller are also coming onboard to co-direct the film.
