Hrithik Roshan offered ‘The Burning Train’ remake?

The remake of ‘Satte Pe Satta’ (1982) may have fallen through for Hrithik Roshan, but he could be joining the team of another remake instead – Juno Chopra and Jackky Bhagnani’s ‘The Burning Train’.

The film was announced last month, and rumours suggest that Roshan is being considered for the lead role. “Juno and Jackky have decided to approach Hrithik Roshan for the remake. They are keen to have him on board as they feel that he will take this film to another level. The film’s planning was in full progress but due to the corona pandemic, the project is now on a standstill. As soon as the lockdown is removed, the producers will have a meeting with Hrithik Roshan.”, a source told Filmfare.

The original ‘The Burning Train’ (1980) had a star cast of Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna, Parveen Babi, Jeetendra and Neetu Singh.
