Hrithik Roshan: “It’s sad that my equation with Sussanne is looked upon as rare”

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan shocked everyone with their decision to part ways in 2013. However, the couple have been inspirational in the way they are raising their kids, Hrehaan (13) and Hridhaan (11). From the former couple jetting off for a holiday with kids to enjoying a lunch date with friends, the couple isn’t allowing their former marriage to come in the way of their parenting.

Roshan recently opened up about his relationship with Khan and said, “It’s sad that my equation with Sussanne is looked upon as rare when it should be common practice to strive towards peace and happiness, especially for our children. Even now, some people ask me why I am so good to my ex, and I explain to them that as a father, I am bringing up two men, and they need to know that their mother is loved and respected. They need to learn that two people can be separated but still stand united as a family.”

On the professional front, Roshan is basking in the glory of his recent success, ‘Super 30’ (2019), which was a biopic on maths professor Anand Kumar, reports Bollywood Life. Speaking about taking up another biopic in the future, the star said, “I am not particularly looking forward to doing a biopic. What’s important for me is the script. If that is powerful, then I will do it. The same thing happened with Super 30. I did not do it because I wanted to do a biopic. I happened to like a script which was a biopic. It did not take me more than 30 seconds to say yes to the script. Because it moved me, made me happy and feel various emotions.” From playing a simple maths professor in ‘Super 30,’ the actor will now transform into an intense avatar for ‘War’ alongside Tiger Shroff.

The star was also rumoured to have signed up for Aanand L Rai’s next movie, alongside Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. Clearing the air over the casting, Roshan revealed, “That’s not true. I haven’t got any call from anyone as of now. But I am a huge fan of Aanand sir’s work.”
