‘Housefull 3’ in copyright trouble

With the release of ‘Housefull 3’ looming closer, apparently the film has fallen into some legal trouble.

As reported by��Box Office Capsule, writer-lyricist��Farooq Barelvi, has filed a complaint which states the the films story was originally written by him. Titling the story as ‘Tigdambaz’, Barelvi registered the script��the Association of Writers in 2009, which was later narrated to Akshay Kumar, film maker��Ashwini Yardi and Entertainment houses owner Narendra Khuwala .

Barelvi explained how Yardi offered him a contract to make the script into a film, under Khushwala’s entertainment house. Despite being paid Rs. 61000 and developing the script, nothing more was done for his part.

Barelvi has accused Kumar and the makers of the film for cheating him.
