Hotstar launches on Amazon Fire TV Stick, Apple TV & Android TV in UK

India’s leading digital platform, Hotstar has commenced its expansion plans in the UK. The popular streaming service, which is set to increase its footprint in UK/Europe in 2020, has today extended its reach.

As of Tuesday 31st December 2019, Hotstar is available on the Amazon Fire TV Stick, as well as Apple TV and Android TV. This will no doubt be hugely welcomed by digital viewers, who were up until now only access Hotstar on mobile, desktop and smart TV via Google Chromecast.

Hotstar, the home of Star India shows including regional language channels, is also the exclusive digital home of India cricket, the ICC World Cup and Indian Premier League.

In the coming months, Hotstar UK will also launch on Roku and Samsung Smart TV sets.
