Hotstar confirms premiere date of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Laxmmi Bomb’

Streaming giant Hotstar has confirmed that it will be streaming the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ starring Akshay Kumar, this Diwali.

Announcing the news, Kumar took to Instagram by releasing a teaser of the film, along with the caption, “Iss Diwali aapke gharon mein “laxmmi” ke saath ek dhamakedar “bomb” bhi aayega. Aa rahi hai #LaxmmiBomb 9th November ko, only on @DisneyPlusHSVIP.

Earlier reports suggested that the film could cancel its Hotstar arrangement and release at cinemas. However, this now confirms the film will release exclusively on Hotstar globally.

The film also stars Kiara Advani.

It will be available on 9th November, to coincide with Diwali.
