Horror Hindi film ‘Vash’ to feature music by UK’s Mukhtar Sahota

Horror Hindi film ‘Vash’, releasing on 21st July 2023 will feature music by music director Mukhtar Sahota.

The film ’Vash’ has been written and directed by Jagmeet Singh Samundri, it revolves around a young recently married couple who have something sinister and fearsome hovering over their married life, a gripping story of true love conquering all fears in an edge of the seat thriller.

The Music for ‘Vash’ is by UK based music director Mukhtar Sahota, who has been in the music industry for over 30 years and has worked with an array of artists from around the world including AR Rahman, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Arif Lohar, Mika Singh, Nooran Sisters. Sahota was formerly part of ‘The Sahotas’ bhangra band.

Mukhtar Sahota said: “Working on the music for the film ‘Vash’ was different from other movies as this was my first time producing music for a horror film. It was an enjoyable experience creating the soundtrack for the film, I got to utilise many sounds that I wouldn’t normally use due to the horror genre. I had the pleasure of composing some great songs from romantic ballads to an up-tempo dance and an eerie title track, highlighted with the vocals of Bollywood’s finest playback singers.”
