Homi Adajania to direct Hindi adaptation of ��The Fault In Our Stars�۪

Earlier this year, there were many rumours that Karan Johar had bought the rights to make the Hindi adaptation of John Green�۪s novel, ��The Fault In Our Stars�۪.�� It was also rumoured that Johar was planning to sign Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan for the lead roles in the film.�� However, contrary to those rumours, the adaptation will in fact be directed by Homi Adajania.

Confirming the news to TNN, Adajania said, ���It�۪s a story that I feel needs to be told.�� It�۪s poignant at a time when we are manically running this make-believe race we think is life.�� We are profound idiots to actually believe we have unlimited time here.�۝

The adaptation will be produced by Fox Star Studios and Dinesh Vijan, who had also produced Adajania�۪s latest releast, ��Finding Fanny�۪.

Though the cast has not yet been finalised, an announcement is expected soon as the film will start shooting from March 2015.
