‘Hollyoaks’ actress Lena Kaur quits

‘Hollyoaks’ actress Lena Kaur who plays Leila Roy has quit.

The actress confirmed the news to entertainment website, Digital Spy, saying, “”I decided to leave a while ago because I wanted to do something else. It’s the same with every soap – you don’t get time to rehearse, there are ups and down and it’s so quick to film. You learn all the technical side of things, which is fabulous but for me, I want to move on.”

The 23-year old has been playing the character of Leila since last June and is due to finish filming week but will remain on screen until early January.

One half of the Roy family consisting of actors Junade Khan (Ash), Anthony Bunsee (Gov) and Nila Aalia (Bel) left the show in September. Characters Ravi and Anita remain on the show.
