‘Holiday’ actor Freddy Daruwala to play lawyer in next

Freddy Daruwala, who shot to fame with Akshay Kumar starer ‘Holiday’ (2014), will be donning the role of a lawyer in his upcoming film about drug abuse titled ‘Mia – Ek Umeed’.

The movie, which is being produced by Welcome Friends Production and is also Rajat Mukherjee’s directorial debut, will see Daruwala playing a��’no nonsense’ lawyer for which he prepared by attending court proceedings and shadowing lawyers to observe their style and behavioural traits.

According to��Hindustan Times, Daruwala shared, “I have watched several movies featuring actors who have played lawyers brilliantly. Since I play a serious lawyer, there are many imposition involved. It�۪s a challenging role which is integral to the narrative.�۝

The 32 year-old has also been roped in to play the��main antagonist in Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s ‘Commando 2’ which is scheduled for release on 6 January, next year.
