Hina Khan to play Komolika in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’?

Rumours surrounding the cast of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ have been doing the rounds for several days.

After it was confirmed that Erica Fernandes will be taking on the role of Prerna, its now being rumoured that Hina Khan will be roped in to play the character of Komolika, originally played by Urvashi Dholakia. Earlier, producer Ekta Kapoor said casting the character would be the most challenging.

At the time, she said, “Even though there will b a reboot in her character … it’ll b a v difficult casting for this iconic antagonist! So first choice will b hopefully d last choice JAI MATA DI. So many sources claiming so many actors in this epic characters casting’ I have approached only one person n she is d ONLY CHOICE.”

Now a source has said, “Talks have reached an advanced stage and the makers are keen on roping in Hina for the part. She is expected to sign on the dotted line soon.”

Barun Sobti is rumoured to be cast as the male lead in the much awaited Star Plus show.
