Hina Khan confirms exit from ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’

Hina Khan has confirmed that she will be stepping down from the role of Komolika in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ due to her film commitments.

The actress told an entertainment portal that she will not be seen in the show post-March as she begins work on her debut film, along with veteran actress Farida Jalal.

She was cited saying, “It’s true that I will not be seen on the show post-March. But, the only reason is my prior commitment to films.”

She added, “The production wanted me to stay, it’s me who wants to go and the reasons are only films. They understood and have given me a break. You never know I might come back.”

Khan may reprise her role as Komolika at a later date.
