Himesh Reshammiya ousted from ‘Aksar 2’?

Himesh Reshammiya composed the entire album of 2006’s ‘Aksar’. Now that the sequel is being worked on, it seems makers do not want him involved with the music.

Spotboye reports that makers have opted instead for Sachin Gupta and Mithoon. A source is reported saying, “The director wanted a fresh approach to the film which is why he opted for Mithoon and Sachin Gupta. Mithoon and Sachin will have a couple of songs in the project”.

What might add insult to injury is that ‘Aksar 2’, which is set to star Gautam Rode and Zareen Khan, will reportedly have a reworked ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ featuring in the soundtrack for promotional purposes.
