Musician-actor, Himesh Reshammiya, is grateful for the love and support from his mentor and star Salman Khan.
It was Khan who gave him the first break in the industry as a music composer in his film ‘Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya’ (1998).
Khan and Reshammiya gave many hit film albums together like ‘Yeh Hai Jalwa’ (2002), ‘Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge’ (2000). Reshammiya came to the limelight as a music director with 2003 Khan-starrer ‘Tere Naam’.
“He is a legend, he is the best brother I can have. I am indebted to him for whatever I am today and the whole Khan family for giving me a break. He is a genius and he knows his job very well,” Reshammiya told IANS.
“He surprises every year with something new. That is why he is a superstar and will continue to survive for another 50 years. He has the knack to connect with the audience. He is the most lovable star,” he said.
Reshammiya also looks forward to composing music for Khan’s two upcoming ventures, Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’.
Presently, Reshammiya is excited for the release of his film ‘The Xpose’. In the film he plays a detective who is investigating a murder case.
The film is directed by Anant Mahadevan. It also stars, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, Zoya Afroz, Sonali Raut and Irrfan Khan in a special appearance.
