High Court told that ‘Finding Fanny’ title is “vulgar”
It seems the Censor Board is having a field day somewhat with the upcoming releases this month. Where a song from Khoobsurat۪ is getting objection by the board, the title of this week۪s release Finding Fanny۪ is also now under scrutiny.
The objection which was a public interest litigation (PIL) against the word fanny has requested that the word be removed from the film, it۪s posters and trailers. The PIL has been filed by Nandini Tiwari and NGO Jai Jagriti Foundation.
Her feelings, as the mother of a four-year-old child, is that the word fanny is sexually explicit and will pollute the mind۪s of India۪s children who will be a part of the film۪s audience.
The hearing will be on 10th September, just two days before the film is scheduled to release.
