As the promo of Madhur Bhandarkar’s forthcoming film ‘Heroine’ receives rave reviews worldwide, there is one region in the globe that has become somewhat offended by the way they have been portrayed in it.

The promo sees female lead, Kareena Kapoor, delivering a dialogue that reflects her characters thoughts of how the media react to the lives of the famous. The line “…aur God forbid Dubai gayi, toh uska rate card ban jaata hai,” has caused a bit of stir with the people of the United Arab Emirates. As perBollywood Hungama, the Middle Eastern region feel that this dialogue reflects “immoral reference to the city” and believe itisn’t necessary.

Due to this uproar, the makers of the film have decided to either dub the word ‘Dubai’ for another destination or mute it in all screenings forin UAE. Set to release on 21st September, ‘Heroine’ will also star Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta and Randeep Hooda.
