Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’ is much anticipated mainly because of his own reputation in films and also because it has been branded as Kareena Kapoor’s best film to date. With Kapoor’s popularity, it will be a great triumph for all involved if the film is a box office success. It has been reported that the actress would be seen consuming alcohol in the film as well as smoking. As a result, the film has been given an A certificate.

On Friday, the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC)advised that every scene containing Kapoor smoking should get a statutory warning. According to Bollywood Hungama, a source said, “We’ve instructed the makers of Heroine to put statutory warnings wherever the heroine is shown smoking. We’re following the rule”. The source also added that the makers have been told to blur the cigarette brand from view.

The makers are indeed worried about the advice given by the Board. Although all smoking scenes have been caught, so to speak, the love-making scenes between Kapoor and her co-star Arjun Rampal have remained intact.
