‘Hero’ gets certified U/A with seven cuts

Salman Khan’s next production ‘Hero’ has been cleared for release after the Indian film censor board certified the movie U/A with seven cuts.

About the cuts, director Nikhil Advani told Deccan Chronicle, ���We are quite happy with the U/A certificate. As for the cuts, they are for very random words, such as saala. These cuts make no difference at all to the film�۪s narrative otherwise.�۝

Apparently, the new age ‘Hero’ is ���far more aggressive and in-your-face�۝ than the original movie, which released in the 80s. The new version stars Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, while the original had Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh as the leading pair.

‘Hero’ releases on 11th September.
