Hemant Brijwasi crowned winner on Colors’ ‘Rising Star 2’

Hemant Brijwasi has been named winner in Colors’ hit singing reality show ‘Rising Star 2’.

He won a prize money of Rs. 20 lakh. Rohanpreet Singh and Vishnumaya came second and third respectively.

Brijwasi from Mathura, who also won ZEE TV’s ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ in 2009, also featured as a contestant on ‘India’s Got Talent’ and ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar 2’.

The grand finale was aired last night with family and friends of the finalists also appearing in the episode.
