Hema Malini proud of Esha Deol’s Kannada film in Oscar race

Esha Deol’s Kannada film, ‘Care of Footpath 2’ (2015) is heading to Los Angeles as a ‘lateral contender’ in the Oscar race. Mum Hema Malini is proud of her daughter’s achievement, and admits that she doesn’t know how Deol managed to do the film with all her domestic responsibilities in hand.

As according to the Deccan Chronicle, Malini said, “She went and did a Kannada film, Care of Footpath 2. I didn’t even know when she found the time from all her domestic responsibilities. I guess we Deols are multi-taskers. All I know is that the film will go to the Oscars and I am very proud of my daughter. They are all going to Los Angeles to release the film.”

‘Care of Footpath 2’ is directed by Guinness World Record making director, Kishan Shrikanth.
