Hema Malini finally gets permission for Mumbai dance academy

After applying for a plot to open up her own dance academy in 1996, Hema Malini has finally received permission to open up the dance academy in Andheri West, Mumbai. The plot for this academy has been approved after twenty years.

Absolute India reports an official saying, “The state government has approved the project proposal and the Revenue Minister Ekanth Khadse presented the allotment letter to Hema Malini at his official residence on Tuesday.”

Malini said, “This allotment has been possible only because of the personal interest shown by Khadse. I am grateful to him and the state government. I am still stressed till the entire paperwork is completed. There is a lot of work to be done. I will name it after my mother Jaya Chakravarthy.”

Malini is known for her passion for Indian classical dance forms, having also performed in many cities, with daughters Esha and Ahana.
