‘Hate Story 4’ given ‘A’ certificate from CBFC

Vishal Pandya’s ‘Hate Story 4’, which will be releasing later this week, has been given an ‘A’ certificate. This comes at no surprise, as the film has been described as a dark erotic thriller, with a dash of revenge thrown into the mix.

Reported on Mid-day, Pandya fully expected an ‘A’ rating from the Central Board of film Certificate (CBFC), as the previous three films in the franchise also had the same due to the adult content. “The film is clearly targeted towards an adult audience. Not just erotica but even the theme with revenge as its central story. The theme of the film is based on the multiple issues woman have faced and how it has built the emotion of hate in them and thus their revenge,”…the director further added, “I would be very worried if the censors gave my film franchise a UA certificate.”

‘Hate Story 4’ is out in cinemas on the 9th March, stars Urvashi Rautela, Karan Wahi, Vivan Bhatena, Ihana Dhillon and Gulshan Grover in lead roles.
