It is known that last week Shah Rukh Khan had surgery on his right shoulder. News has it that due to doctors ordering Khan to take rest for six weeks to recover, Farah Khan’s forthcoming venture ‘Happy New Year’ will be postponed by a few months.

An insider spoke to Hindustan Times to explain, “The plan was to start the HNY shoot with a couple of schedules in Mumbai before flying off to Dubai in September for the

subsequent ones. But since Shah Rukh will take about three months to recover completely, the Mumbai schedules have beencancelled. He will directly start shooting in Dubai”. Following his rest period, Khan will need to do the appropriate exercises to ensure the recovery is to the mark and this means he will not be ready to start the schedule this month as was planned.

The insider also revealed, “Once Shah Rukh starts work on HNY, you can expect him to continue working at a stretch again. In the meantime, he is making the most of his free time by spending it with his kids, Aryan and Suhana”.

BizAsia wish Khan a very speedy recovery.
