‘Hamari Saas Leela’ to replace ‘Pratha’ on Colors

Neela Telefilms new show ‘Hamari Saas Leela’ will be the new offering on Colors, replacing the troubled show ‘Rishton Se Badi Pratha’ in the 19:00 band.

Earlier reports suggested that ‘Pratha’ was to remain on-air and moved to a different slot with a whole new cast but due to “certain issues”, Pearl Grey, Producer of ‘Rishton Se Badi Pratha’ confirmed it will now be going off-air.

BizAsia.co.uk had also reported that the main leads of the show Vishal Karwal and Parul Chauhan had quit due to the upcoming “leap” storyline.

‘Hamari Saas Leela’ is a Gujarati family show where Apara Mehta is playing the character of protagonist Leela, who is a middle class mentality woman who has faced very bad phases in life and now has turned rich. She plays the character of a much loved mother who is looking for the perfect bahu�۪s for her four sons.

‘Rishton Se Badi Pratha’ ends on Friday 27th May at 19:00, to be replaced by ‘Hamari Saas Leela’ on Monday 30th May in the same timeslot.
