That time of the year again..Hajj is going on and Eid is upon (Tuesday) us.

As always, Biz Asia brings you a guide to what the broadcasters will be airing for the auspicious occasion.

BBC Asian Network
BBC Asian Network continues its special programming for Hajj and Eid which began in late December. Special news items will continue throughout the week and feature across all programmes. Drive at 16:00 follows a group of Muslim boy scouts who are on Hajj.

Rituals of Hajj’,8th – 12th January
A very special ‘presentation on the five days of Hajj. These programs are presented by the Islamic scholar Shaykh Ibrahim Mogra each day and explain the symbolism and significance of the rituals conducted on each of the days of Hajj.

Eid Specials, 10th January
On the third day of Hajj the festival of Eid Ul Adha, is celebrated. Animals are sacrificed and the meat given to the poor in remembrance of the test Abraham faced when asked to sacrifice his son Ismail. There will be Eid coverage across our programs tomorrow culminating in an Eid Special from 07.30 to 22:00 presented by Kanwal Kazi and Anish Shaikh.
