Gurmeet Choudhary welcomes ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ delay

Gurmeet Choudhary has welcomed the news about his upcoming film ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ being delayed by a week due to recent issues in India related to the demonetisation.

Talking to The Indian Express, Choudhary commented,  “It is the best decision under the circumstances, considering that our film is being looked forward to both in multiplexes and single screens in the interiors. Now that the film has shaped up well, we do not want people to lose out on the film due to the ongoing cash crunch. We are confident things will settle down in the next fortnight and the film will get its rightful due”.

He wants to promote to his fans via television promotions, “We are planning to have a big splash on television with Bigg Boss and The Kapil Sharma Show next week.”

He received a great confidence rise, when his wife Debina saw the film,  “Debina is also a great critic and she observes all my nuances on screen. It was interesting to see her completely absorbed, particularly in the second half when the story goes to a new high.”

He commented and continued to say, “Any other husband would feel sad to see tears in the eyes of his wife, but I was absolutely over the moon because it was an indicator about the kind of impact the film would have on the audiences. If this was the impact the film had on a strong and practical girl like Debina, I could well figure out how the audiences would be bowled over by it”.

‘Wajah Tum Ho’ releases on 16th December 2016.
