Gurmeet Choudhary confesses he is shy

After a successful transition from television to cinema, Gurmeet Choudhary will soon be seen in the erotic-thriller ‘Wajah Tum Ho’.  The actor, who recently said he would go naked onscreen if necessary, has now stated that he is in fact a shy person and does feel hesitant when performing intimate scenes onscreen.

DNA quote Choudhary having told PTI, “There is hesitation to do it (bold scenes). I am shy. I was unable to say I love you to my wife, unable to propose, so I am that shy. I was afraid to do it (bold scenes) but I made sure I looked convincing on screen. I find it difficult to do (bold scenes).”

While he may feel uncomfortable on a personal level, the actor believes it is his duty as an actor to do whatever his character needs to at that point.

Vishal Pandya’s ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ also stars Sana Khan and Sharman Joshi. The film releases on 2nd December.
