‘Gully Boy’ & ‘Delhi Crime’ regional winners at Asian Academy Creative Awards
‘Gully Boy’ and ‘Delhi Crime’ have become regional winners at the 2019 Asian Academy Creative Awards, qualifying them to represent India at the Gala Finals held in December.
‘Gully Boy’ won best feature film from India. ‘Delhi Crime’ took the awards for Best Drama Series, Best Original Programme by a Streamer/OTT, Best Actress in a Leading Role (Shefali Shah), Best Direction – Fiction (Richie Mehta), Best Editing (Beverley Mills) and Best Original Screenplay (Richie Mehta). They will now compete in the finals with regional winners from Australia & New Zealand, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
The Gala Finals for the 2019 Asia Academy Creative Awards will be held on 6th December in Singapore.
