Gul Khan denies ‘IPKKND3’ facing budget cuts

Producer Gul Khan has refuted rumours of her show ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ facing budget cuts.

Today reports emerged that the show was under scrutiny for its high-end costs and that the show would become a ‘saas-bahu’ style drama to attract more viewers. Despite starring hugely popular star, Barun Sobti, ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ has not been able to fetch the kind of numbers that the channel had hoped to. However, the channel has still very much faith in the show’s future.

Talking to BizAsiaLive.com , Khan said the rumours were untrue. Khan also denied that the main focus of the show will be on Advay’s family in a cheaper set based in suburban Mumbai. She said, “We have both the sets. Right now, yes we are shooting in the Mumbai set but that is due to the storyline. Their set had to change to coincide with the script.”
