Gujarati film ‘Superstar’ to be remade in Hindi

Gujarati film ‘Superstar’, which has worked wonders at the box office, will be remade in Hindi.

The thriller starring Dhruvin Shah will also take lead in the Hindi version, according to Times Of India. The film also stars Rashami Desai and its directed by Bhavin Wadia.

A source told the publication, “Superstar has not only been appreciated by critics in Gujarat, but is also having a dream run at the BO, with shows running houseful even in its seventh week. The makers wanted the film to reach a wider segment of audience, and hence, are releasing it in Mumbai this Friday.”

Sundeep Sidhwani, who is remaking the film said he was impressed with Shah’s performance and was excited to launch him in Bollywood. The film’s script will be tweaked to suit audiences outside for other audiences.
