Grand Showbiz Media & Entertainment has just released ‘Azhar’ starring Emraan Hashmi, Nargis Fakhri and Prachi Desai which is the official biopic of former Indian cricket captain Mohamed Azharuddin in approx. 260 screens worldwide.
The second film from this distribution house is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer ‘Sarbjit’, which also stars Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha and is helmed by National Award Winning director Omung Kumar. The Movie is having an exclusive World premiere at 69th Festival de Cannes and the same is organized by Grand Showbiz Media & Entertainment. The movie is all set to release in 300 screens and in over 20 countries on 20th May 2016.
Grand Showbiz will also be releasing the most awaited and much talked about movie of 2016, ‘Udta Punjab’ starring the youth icons of Bollywood Industry, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt , Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles. The film will hit the theatres on 17th June 2016 worldwide.
With an ambition to capitalise on the ever-growing NRI community by delivering effectual and captivating cinema, the overseas distribution rights to these films will ensure Grand Showbiz Media & Entertainment makes its incursion into key markets for Indian cinema, such as the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
In addition to bringing a slate of films for overseas distribution, the company also forays into producing and co-producing Indian language films. One of the joint productions will be ‘Sardaarji 2’, which is a sequel to last year�۪s super hit Punjabi movie ‘Sardaarji’ starring Diljit Dosanjh. ‘Sardaarji 2’ is all set to tickle your funny bone on 24th June 2016.
