Govinda-Raveena to reunite for ZEE Cine Awards
Fans of Govinda and Raveena Tandon can rejoice. The two actors will be reuniting after a gap of 11 years and winning audiences’ hearts all over again with a dance performance at the upcoming ZEE Cine Awards 2017.
The two, who are one of the best loved on-screen jodis of Bollywood, will reportedly be performing to some of their greatest hits including ‘Akhiyon Se Goli Mare’ and ‘Kya Lagti Hai Haye Rabba’ from the film ‘Dulhe Raja’ (1998) as well as ‘Kurta Phaad Ke’ from ‘Anari No.1’ (1999). Both Tandon and Govinda enthralled audiences in the 90s with their zany songs and dancing.
According to Pinkvilla, both are excited to be reuniting with Tandon saying “It’s always been fun dancing with Chi Chi. Our songs have always been dhamaal and the kind of dancing we do is all about fun and letting yourself go. I really look forward to dancing with Govinda again.” Tandon is also reportedly dancing to some more contemporary tunes and will be doing a hosting slot.
The Awards ceremony is set to take place on 11th March in Mumbai and other key performances include Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan.
