Salman Khan is planning to remake Mahesh Manjrekar’s Marathi film ‘Shikshanacha Aaichya Gho’ in Hindi but has been waiting on Govinda to agree to be a part of the film.
Apparently, Manjrekar and Khan have both been after Govinda for the past two and a half years. Quite surprising Khan and Govinda have shared huge success in ‘Partner’ and are best of buddies. But things apparently turned sour when Khan chose to launch Sonakshi Sinha over Govinda’s daughter Namrata. Since then things have eased between the two actors and Khan has been seen spending time at Govinda’s apartment.
A source told Mumbai Mirror, “Govinda is not too keen to do the film as he feels that it is too arty for his taste. And this is purely Govinda’s personal perception.” The source went on to add: “Also, the role offered to him is that of an ambitious and aggressive father and Govinda feels that his temperament and demeanour does not suite the part.”
Khan will also be playing a pivotal part in the film.
