The grand finale of the ZEE TV singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ witnessed a star-studded evening, graced by the legendary actor Govinda alongside his wife, Sunita Ahuja, and esteemed actress Aruna Irani; leaving the audience spellbound with their performances.

The guests were accompanied by the show’s esteemed judges Anu Malik, Neeti Mohan, and Himesh Reshammiya. The culmination episode, featuring the exceptional talent of the finalists, was elevated to greater heights with the presence of these iconic personalities.

In a heartwarming revelation, Govinda shared his creation, “Neend Naa Aaye”, a song dedicated to Sunita, expressing his love and admiration. This marked a poignant moment as Sunita expressed her joy, acknowledging Govinda’s first-ever song dedicated solely to her. Commenting on the occasion Govinda said “I’m so grateful to have Sunita in my life. She’s my rock, my confidante, and my biggest supporter. Tonight, I wanted to do something different and special for Sunita, so I thought of singing these songs to her from the ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ platform.”

Himesh Reshammiya also got nostalgic during the evening. He shared a heartwarming incident about Govinda’s kindness. Mentioning the same he said “When I first started in the industry, I was struggling to make my mark. The first ever bouquet I received after my first movie song was from Govinda. He didn’t have to do that, but it meant the world to me. Govinda is a true legend, and I’m so grateful for his support.”

Reflecting on his musical journey, Govinda humbly revealed his contributions to songwriting, a talent he often kept in the shadows, stating, “I wrote and co-wrote many songs but never took credit for the same. I’m known for my dance numbers, and I’m proud of that. But I believe that good dance comes from good songs. I’ve been fortunate to work with some amazing composers who have given me some incredible songs to dance to.” His modesty and passion for music added depth to an already unforgettable evening.
